Next week there will be a vocab quiz on all the important vocabulary you should be learning this quarter. Words and their definitions you need to include:

Students will work independently on their Novel Study project. They will also confer (talk) with a teacher about conflict in their novel. All tasks should be completed by Friday 25 Nov.
Homework: Novel Study tasks
Students will learn about the effects of WW1. They will then begin their own research project on a conflict that has occurred in the world sometime during the last 100 years. Service Learning groups should also have made contact with their service-learning partner by Fri 25 Nov and be thinking about solutions.
Students will continue conducting experiments with solids, liquids and gases. Work your way through the handouts with lots of predicting, observing, testing, and evaluating! Make sure you know the words on the vocab cards below.
