In Writing Workshop students have reviewed the basic structure of expository writing. They have been meeting FRED and practicing writing paragraphs to get them to be as informative and as fluent as possible. This week students will continue to practice these expository writing skills so they are ready for the Create A Society performance task.
Students will review for the quiz so after the CWW they are ready to use these concepts in the Create A Society performance task. Students will SYNTHESIZE all the learning that they have been doing in Social Studies to date and TRANSFORM it into their own society. This task will be challenging, but creative and enjoyable!
Students will show their understanding of the scientific process by writing their mung bean lab report and preparing to communicate it orally.
